"We are proud to be listed in both the Good Hotel Guide and the Alistair Sawday's guide"
Frog Street Farm House appears in the Sawday's guide and website. Read what Alastair Sawday writes about Frog Street Farm House here »
Frog Street derives its name from a corruption of the Anglo Saxon for "meeting place". This delightful listed Somerset longhouse dates back to the 15th Century and is situated at the end of a "no through road" in the beautiful, tranquil Somerset countryside with an abundance of wildlife. Situated only 5.5 miles from the M5 motorway, 6 miles from the county town of Taunton and approximately 20 miles from both the north and south coast makes it the perfect setting for either business or pleasure.
The house has been tastefully restored to a high standard, retaining the character of the house with its beamed ceilings, fine Jacobean panelling and open fireplaces; during winter guests can curl up by the log fire or in the summer enjoy the beautiful secluded gardens.
This is a haven of tranquillity for those seeking to escape the noise and stress of the modern world. Whatever the time of year, you are guaranteed a relaxing, unforgettable experience. You can also find us on the Charming Small Hotels directory.
Frog Street Farmhouse
I recently stayed at the most lovely B&B in beautiful Somerset - Frog Street Farmhouse. The fifteenth century farmhouse was the perfect location for my first aerial video, and second flight with the amazing DJI Inspire 1!
